What is Glider?
Glider is building the next generation of investing. We’re focused on long-term, diversified portfolios, automated rebalancing, and calm, intelligent UX—bringing the familiarity and safeguards of traditional investing to onchain finance. Our goal is abstract away all of the complexities of DeFi to allow anyone to invest onchain.
Since launch, we’ve had over 100,000 users join Glider. As the world’s assets move on chain, everyone will need novel and better ways to manage their assets. We’re excited about RWAs, onchain stocks and bonds—real investable assets fully onchain with all of the superpowers that being onchain brings.
Glider is backed by a16z CSX, Coinbase Ventures, Uniswap Ventures, Ondo Finance, MoonPay Ventures, GSR, Selini, and many others.
What are we hiring for?
We are seeking a Quantitative Developer to join our team and play a critical hand in developing Glider. As a Quantitative Developer, you will be responsible for building retail-focused quantitative strategies, working with cutting-edge technology, and contributing to a product that uses every piece of the crypto/DeFi stack. You will work directly with our CEO, who previously worked in high frequency trading at XTX Markets.
Qualifications:
- Experience building onchain strategies like Basis Trades, Funding Rate Arbitrage, Lending/Borrowing/Looping, and more.
- Risk: you’ve managed capital risk in the past and built systems to observe and control risk when markets are volatile.
- Deep Onchain Knowledge: Thorough understanding of how swaps, lending, AMMs, and perps work technically and economically
Tech Stack Proficiency
We don’t expect deep expertise in every technology listed below. We’re looking for strong TypeScript and systems fundamentals, meaningful depth in at least one part of the stack, and the ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly.
- Core engineering: Strong TypeScript skills across a large Bun/Turborepo monorepo, with an emphasis on type-safe boundaries, domain-driven architecture, and correctness in financial systems.
- Cloudflare platform: Experience building production systems with Cloudflare Workers, Workflows, Durable Objects, Queues, R2, D1, KV, Pipelines, service bindings, and scheduled triggers. Comfortable designing stateful, event-driven, edge-native systems and managing infrastructure through Wrangler and Alchemy.
- Web3 and execution: Familiarity with Viem/Wagmi, ZeroDev Kernel smart accounts, session-key permissions, SIWE/Privy authentication, and bundler/paymaster infrastructure. EVM experience is expected; Solana/SVM and cross-chain execution experience is a strong plus.
- Backend: Experience with Hono, tRPC, Zod, durable workflows, event-driven architecture, and realtime systems. Able to design idempotent, replay-safe execution paths across distributed Cloudflare services.
- Agent-native engineering: Comfortable using coding agents such as Codex or Claude Code for codebase research, implementation, testing, and review—while maintaining ownership of architecture, security, and correctness.
Why Join Glider:
- You want to join a high throughput, small team with no bureaucracy.
